Acting promptly, city police, along with bomb disposal and dog squads, rushed to the affected institutions and carried out extensive searches. After thorough checks, officials confirmed that no explosives or suspicious materials were found anywhere.Deputy Commissioner of Police (Central) Numal Mahato said the threat was clearly aimed at creating fear and disruption during an important religious and cultural occasion. “All the messages have been verified and found to be hoaxes. There is no cause for panic, and the situation is fully under control,” he said, urging the public to remain calm and vigilant.Police officials noted that the emails appeared to have been sent using false identities, and cybercrime units have been roped in to trace their origin.
