All four suspects were apprehended and the victims were safely recovered.The arrested individuals have been identified as:- Nur Ahmed Laskar (Hailakandi)- Shribas Das (Cachar)- Sajon Ahmed (Sribhumi)- Joyrul Islam (Sribhumi)Police sources confirmed that the gang was wanted in multiple cases of abduction and other offences registered across the district. The accused had fled Assam to avoid capture and had been on the run for an extended period.The rescued women, all in their early twenties, are currently undergoing medical examination and trauma counselling at a government facility. They will be handed over to their families after completion of legal formalities.Senior officers have described the operation as a significant success against organised crime in the region.
