A formal Mutual Legal Assistance Request (MLAR) has been forwarded to Singapore’s Attorney General’s Office via India’s Ministry of Home Affairs. “Conducting unauthorised investigations in Singapore would breach international protocols and risk rendering evidence inadmissible,” Gupta explained.Also Read: Singapore-Based Rupkamal Kalita Joins Probe into Zubeen Garg’s Death, Others Fail to RespondThe SIT has summoned 11 members of the Assam Association Singapore, believed to have been on the yacht with Garg at the time of his death. One member has already provided a statement, while the others are required to appear in person, with travel and accommodation arrangements facilitated by the authorities.In further developments, two of Garg’s personal security officers have been arrested, and the SIT is actively questioning several other witnesses.
