Welcome 3: Akshay Kumar and Suniel Shetty Return, Film Releasing in June

The makers of Welcome 3, officially titled Welcome to the Jungle, have announced that the film will release in cinemas on June 26. Directed by Ahmed Khan, this is the third part of the popular Welcome comedy franchise.

The film features a huge cast of more than 30 actors. Major names include Akshay Kumar, Suniel Shetty, Jackie Shroff, Raveena Tandon, Disha Patani, Jacqueline Fernandez, Arshad Warsi, Paresh Rawal, Rajpal Yadav, Johnny Lever, Aftab Shivdasani, Lara Dutta, Shreyas Talpade, Tusshar Kapoor, Urvashi Rautela, and many others.

Akshay Kumar Remembers Katrina Kaif

In November last year, Akshay Kumar shared a fun video on Instagram with co-star Disha Patani from the film’s set. The two were seen dancing to a new version of the popular song “Uncha Lamba Kad.” It was his caption that grabbed most of the netizens' attention, as he gave a special shout-out to his former Welcome co-star Katrina Kaif. "From our hearts to yours!! What a throwback, 18 years & still an all-time favourite. With so much nostalgia, beautiful Disha & I bring you 'Welcome to the Jungle'... Never forgetting our "Queen Katrina," he posted.

About the Welcome Franchise

The first Welcome film was released in 2007 and starred Akshay Kumar, Katrina Kaif, Anil Kapoor, Nana Patekar, Feroz Khan, and Paresh Rawal. The second part, Welcome Back, came out in 2015, with John Abraham and Shruti Haasan in the lead roles. Both films were directed by Anees Bazmee.
