CCTV evidence suggests that Ritumoni entered her office at 10:40 PM  late Sunday night on the third floor of Purvoday Building—a time when most employees had already left. Upon stepping inside, she scanned the entire office space, as if ensuring she was alone. She then went straight to the washroom, placing her bag on a table and removing a rope she had brought with her.

She later sat at her desk, where she is believed to have written a suicide note. For nearly 30 minutes, she remained seated, crying quietly—an emotional breakdown unexplained so far.

Long Stay Inside the Studio Raises Doubts

Ritumoni then walked into the studio room, lying down on the floor for an extended period while browsing reels on her phone. Sources say she appeared distressed and repeatedly cried.

Her first attempt to harm herself reportedly involved the studio lights—an attempt that failed.

At 11:59 PM, Ritumoni ended her life in another room of the office. Investigators are still trying to understand what led her to spend her final hours at the workplace instead of returning home.
