Who Are the 25 Assam Students Set to Interact with PM Modi at ‘Pariksha Pe Charcha’?

A total of 25 students from various districts of Assam have been selected to participate in the prestigious national-level interaction programme ‘Pariksha Pe Charcha’, an initiative of the Government of India led by the Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

As per the official list, students from districts including Kamrup (Metro), Morigaon, Dibrugarh, Cachar, Sribhumi, Baksa, Dima Hasao, Kokrajhar, Golaghat, Karbi Anglong and Nalbari will represent Assam in the interactive session.

Among the selected candidates is Vihaan Upadhyay, a Class X student of Royal Global School, Guwahati, who has been chosen to take part in the programme. His selection adds to the growing academic recognition of the institution at the national level.

The event is scheduled to be held on December 21, 2025 and aims to create a positive, stress-free environment for students, allowing them to directly interact with the Prime Minister on issues related to examinations, academic pressure, and life goals. The programme has become a flagship platform to motivate young minds and promote holistic learning across the country.

Reacting to the achievement, Dr Arup Mukhopadhyay, Director, Royal Global School, said:

The selected list also features students from leading institutions such as Don Bosco Panbazar, Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalayas, PM Shri Kendriya Vidyalayas, Assam Jatiya Bidyalay, KGBV schools and several government and model schools, highlighting a balanced representation from both private and government educational institutions across the state.

‘Pariksha Pe Charcha’ continues to serve as a significant platform for students nationwide, encouraging dialogue, reducing exam-related stress and reinforcing the importance of mental well-being alongside academic excellence.

  • Tonmoy Chutia – Class IX, Balya Bikash Bidyalay, Moran, Dibrugarh

  • Debanjali Bhattacharjee – Class X, Saraswati Vidya Niketan, Malugram, Silchar, Cachar

  • Anandita Misra – Class IX, CVP Higher Secondary School, Sribhumi
