Arunachal: Mizoram CM Visits Ziro Valley to Study Conservation and Tourism Prospects

Mizoram Chief Minister Pu Lalduhoma made his first visit to Ziro Valley in Arunachal Pradesh Lower Subansiri district on Friday to explore the region’s efforts in nature conservation, agricultural innovation, and tourism development.

Mizoram Chief Minister Pu Lalduhoma made his first visit to Ziro Valley in Arunachal Pradesh’s Lower Subansiri district on Friday to explore the region’s efforts in nature conservation, agricultural innovation, and tourism development.

Accompanied by Arunachal Pradesh Agriculture Minister Gabriel D Wangsu, the Chief Minister toured significant sites, including the Integrated Aqua Park in Tarin, the kiwi garden in Biiri, and the scenic Seeh and Seke Lakes, which highlight the valley’s ecological and tourism potential.

At the Biiri kiwi garden, SDHO Tasso Yallu provided insights into kiwi cultivation techniques, market opportunities, and the future potential of the crop in the region.

Lalduhoma also visited the renowned Naar-Aaba winery in Hong village, where he met founder Tage Rita and praised her innovative work in promoting local agri-based entrepreneurship.

Rita’s efforts have elevated Arunachal’s kiwi wine to international recognition, showcasing the region’s potential for agro-based industries.

The tour was joined by Animal Husbandry, Veterinary, and Fisheries Secretary Hage Tari, and DAO Tasso Butung. Upon his arrival, Lalduhoma was warmly welcomed by MLA Hage Appa, Deputy Commissioner Oli Perme, SP Keni Bagra, and other officials.
