Assam: Several Students Injured as School Bus Meets with Accident in Juria

Several school students were injured after the vehicle carrying them back from an educational tour met with an accident at Kandhulimari in Juria under Assam's Nagaon district.

The mishap involved students of Kandhulimari Serajia High School, who were returning from an educational trip. The accident occurred barely one kilometre away from the school premises while the bus was on its return journey.

According to local residents, dense fog in the area is believed to have caused the driver to lose control of the vehicle, leading to the accident. The poor visibility reportedly made driving conditions extremely difficult at the time.

Soon after the incident, locals rushed to the spot and helped rescue the injured students. They were later shifted to nearby medical facilities for treatment. While several students sustained injuries, none of them are reported to be in critical condition.
