The complainant alleges that Singh forcibly entered her home approximately six months ago, assaulted her at knifepoint, recorded the act on his mobile phone, and used the footage to blackmail her into further encounters. She claims he approached her again on December 20, molested her, and continued issuing threats to prevent her from speaking out.

A video clip, widely circulated on social media, purportedly shows Singh brazenly dismissing the woman's threats to expose him online.

In the footage, he is heard saying, "Nothing will happen to me," while allegedly abusing a police officer and intimidating the survivor, who can be heard sobbing in the background.

The woman, who runs a local shop, stated that Singh frequently visits her premises, verbally abuses her, and repeats his demands, fostering an environment of constant fear. She further alleged that his prior criminal record, including a previous externment from the district, has made him act with impunity.

On December 22, the survivor lodged a formal written complaint with Satna Superintendent of Police Hansraj Singh, citing ongoing threats to her life and family as the reason for her initial silence. The case was promptly assigned to Deputy Superintendent of Police Manoj Trivedi for investigation.

Police told the media they are verifying the viral video's authenticity and reviewing all evidence. Reports indicate an FIR has been registered against Singh for threats and misbehaviour, though preliminary probes have not yet substantiated the rape allegation. As of the latest updates, no arrest has been officially announced, and the survivor has expressed concerns over delayed action, warning that authorities would bear responsibility for any harm to her or her family.
