In the past 24 hours, light to moderate rain occurred at isolated places over Arunachal Pradesh and Assam, while Mizoram and Tripura saw occasional light showers. Meghalaya, Nagaland, and Manipur, in contrast, remained largely dry. Night temperatures rose appreciably over Nagaland, though in most other areas there were no significant changes.
