The training capsule was organised by the Red Shield Gunners under the supervision of Spear Corps. Personnel from the Assam Police, Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) and Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL) actively participated in the programme.

Designed to address the growing misuse of unmanned aerial systems, the exercise focused on improving situational awareness, preparedness and joint response capabilities. Participants were familiarised with standard operating procedures through practical demonstrations, interactive sessions and coordinated planning modules.

Officials stated that the exercise helped establish a shared operational framework among the participating agencies, ensuring quicker and more effective responses to drone-related security challenges.

The counter-drone capsule substantially boosted inter-agency cooperation and operational readiness, reinforcing a unified approach to security during major national events. Such collaborative efforts highlight the critical role of close military–civil coordination in safeguarding public infrastructure and ensuring seamless security arrangements.
