No arrests have been made so far.Authorities have not ruled out witchcraft accusations as the motive, noting that Tripura has witnessed several similar mob attacks in recent months linked to superstitious beliefs, alongside incidents stemming from road accidents and theft suspicions. The killing has once again highlighted the persistence of superstition-related violence in parts of the state, prompting renewed calls for awareness campaigns and stricter enforcement against such crimes. Investigation is ongoing. Also Read: ‘Rain in Singapore, Umbrella in Dispur’: Akhil Gogoi Tears Into Govt on Zubeen Death CaseAdvertismentAdvertisment Read the Next Article
