Citizens are urged to remain vigilant and record videos to assist with government documentation. The singer"s mortal remains are expected to arrive at the cremation site by approximately 8:00 a.m., with an estimated 5,000 to 6,000 people anticipated to attend the ceremony. Garg"s family has planned a 13-day ritual observance in Jorhat, where the cremation ashes will be offered to the local community on the same day. CM Sarma also announced that officials who accompanied Garg to Singapore will be investigated to confirm they had proper authorisation from the Home Department. To enable widespread public participation, LED screens will be set up at various locations for remote tributes, and villages are encouraged to organise television screenings in public spaces.
