"The Special Investigation Team (SIT) chargesheet in the Zubeen Garg case has brought to light a series of explosive and disturbing revelations, detailing alleged negligence, exploitation, and financial motives involving multiple accused.Advertisment According to the chargesheet, Shyamkanu Mahanta allegedly supplied alcohol to Zubeen Garg during their stay in Singapore. The SIT claims that Black & White whisky, a brand not easily available in Singapore, was specially arranged and provided to the singer. The investigation further reveals that Zubeen remained unconscious on a seashore for nearly 75 minutes, and despite his critical condition, it took almost one and a half hours before he was transported by ambulance, raising serious questions about the delay in medical response. The chargesheet alleges that Shyamkanu Mahanta actively encouraged and facilitated Zubeen Garg to consume alcohol. During this time, Amritprabha was reportedly present, and Zubeen was allegedly made to drink while she was seated beside him at the hotel. The SIT has pointed to gross negligence, accusing Shyamkanu of failing to ensure proper security arrangements and timely medical care, which, according to investigators, critically worsened the situation. In addition to the circumstances surrounding Zubeen"s health, the chargesheet highlights financial dealings carried out in his name. It mentions investments linked to Hotel Heritage and Mahabir Aqua, allegedly associated with Siddharth, as well as investments in the transport business. A medical report from a Mumbai hospital has been included as crucial evidence in the chargesheet. The SIT submitted this report separately to the court in the form of a pen drive. The chargesheet notes that seven accused have been arrested on four distinct grounds. It also incorporates oral testimonies from as many as 395 individuals, detailing how Zubeen was allegedly used and exploited by the accused. Investigators further claim that Zubeen was taken to Singapore without a valid fitness certificate, a move described as highly irresponsible given his condition. In a particularly serious allegation, the SIT has stated that Siddharth attempted to extract financial gains following Zubeen Garg"s death, suggesting a profit-driven motive behind certain actions. The case continues to unfold, with the chargesheet painting a grim picture of negligence and exploitation surrounding the final days of the iconic musician.
