"Guwahati: Chief Judicial Magistrate (CJM) Court in Guwahati, Assam, on Tuesday extended the judicial custody of five individuals accused in the Zubeen Garg death case by an additional 14 days.Advertisment The accused, namely, Shyamkanu Mahanta, Siddharth Sharma, Sandipan Garg, and personal security officers Nandeswar Bora and Paresh Baishya, appeared before the court via video conferencing from Baska District Jail, where they have been detained since their arrest on October 15. The court has scheduled the next hearing upon the completion of this extended custody period. The Special Investigation Team (SIT) continues its probe, conducting regular interrogations and questioning multiple individuals as the investigation advances daily. It may be mentioned that Zubeen Garg died in Singapore during a yacht party where he went to swim. An investgation was called as the incident seemed to be a foul-play. "
