It may be mentioned that the Kangleipak Communist Party-People’s War Group (KCP-PWG) is a banned militant faction operating primarily in the Imphal Valley region of Manipur in Northeast India.

It is a splinter group of the broader Kangleipak Communist Party (KCP), which itself is a Maoist separatist organisation founded on April 13, 1980, under the leadership of Y Ibohanbi. The name "Kangleipak" refers to the ancient historical name for Manipur.
