"The investigation into the untimely demise of Assam's heartthrob Zubeen Garg has gained momentum, with the Special Investigation Team (SIT) zeroing in on individuals associated with a yacht party potentially linked to the case.Advertisment On Tuesday, October 14, Munna Prasad Gupta, Special DGP of CID and SIT chief, informed the media that two more Assamese non-resident Indians (NRIs) from Singapore, Abhimanyu Talukdar and Tanmoy Phukan, arrived at the CID office to assist with the probe. Sources indicate that Phukan had arranged the yacht booking, while Talukdar, who heads the Assam Association in Singapore, was informed about the event in advance by Phukan. Earlier this week, Rupkamal Kalita, Jalongsat Narjari, Parikshit Sharma, and Siddharth Bora were interrogated, with three of them later testifying at the Chief Judicial Magistrate (CJM) court. On October 13, another Assamese NRI, Bhaskarjyoti Dutta, was questioned at the SIT office until 2:35 pm."
